JHB 954 -Warranty Clerk - Passenger Vehicle Dealership
A leading passenger vehicle dealership representing top-selling automotive brands is seeking an experienced Warranty Clerk to join their aftersales team in George. This position is ideally suited to a detail-oriented individual with a solid understanding of dealership warranty processes and manufacturer warranty policies.
Remuneration: R20 000 - R25 000 per month + Incentive + Medical Aid + Provident Fund
- Process and submit warranty claims accurately and within specified manufacturer deadlines
- Ensure all warranty documentation is complete, compliant, and properly filed
- Liaise with service advisors, technicians, workshop controllers, and manufacturer representatives regarding warranty-related matters
- Monitor outstanding warranty claims and follow up on rejected or unpaid claims
- Review repair orders to ensure warranty submissions meet manufacturer requirements
- Maintain accurate warranty records and reports
- Assist with warranty audits and ensure dealership compliance with manufacturer standards
- Identify and address potential warranty discrepancies or claim issues
- Support the Aftersales Department with administrative duties relating to warranty processes
Minimum Requirements:
- Current experience as a Warranty Clerk within a franchised motor dealership is essential
- Proven experience handling warranty claims for passenger vehicles
- Strong understanding of manufacturer warranty procedures and policies
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer literacy, including dealership management systems
- Familiarity with dealership management systems and manufacturer warranty portals
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's licence
