Volkswagen acknowledged its top performers from the dealer network at its annual Grand Prix Awards where the top award as Dealer of the Year went to Conrad Gresse of Upington Volkswagen.
Coming back home to his roots, so to speak, with a passionate challenge lying ahead for him. So says Bradley Scorer, the newly appointed Franchise Executive for the Supergroup Dealerships Stellantis brands as well as Chery.
A total of 21 winners received awards at the Mercedes-Benz Vans Agent and Dealer of the Year ceremony. The manufacturer also celebrated record-breaking worldwide sales and excellent local results.

Motus, the largest automotive group in South Africa, has announced the retirement of Osman Arbee, its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Ockert Janse van Rensburg, currently the Group’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will succeed him as the new CEO.
Tiger Wheel & Tyre released the results of four key tyre tests conducted by the company at the Gerotek testing facility in Pretoria recently. Using identical VW Polos, one fitted with new and the other with worn 15” tyres, professional drivers put the tyres through their paces.
With their second and third shipments on their way, the newly introduced LDV already has vehicles ready for their first customers. The company is also well on its way to establishing a dealer network across the country and still has availability for dealerships in certain areas.
