In her new role, Naudé will oversee TransUnion’s regional portfolio spanning Botswana, Kenya, Rwanda, Namibia, Zambia, eSwatini, South Africa and Malawi, with responsibility for driving performance, growth and the execution of strategic initiatives across these markets.

Jeannine brings considerable experience to the position, having served as TransUnion Africa’s Chief General Counsel for the past nine years. She recently fulfilled the role of Interim Head of Africa Regions, where she ensured operational continuity while demonstrating strong strategic leadership.

During her time as Chief General Counsel, she transformed the Legal, Risk and Compliance function into a strategic and trusted business partner that supported TransUnion Africa’s expansion ambitions.

She played a leading role in strengthening regulatory, industry and stakeholder relationships across multiple African markets. Her achievements include implementing new regulatory frameworks in several countries, consolidating multiple legal entities, overseeing TransUnion’s minority investment in Omnisient and supporting the evaluation and execution of wider expansion opportunities across the continent.

Jeannine has also contributed significantly to advancing TransUnion’s initiatives around financial inclusion, women inclusion and environmental, social and governance priorities. She has championed the increased use of alternative data and led global engagements with organisations such as the International Finance Corporation and the World Bank.

She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Africa Credit Information Sharing Association and remains actively involved in the Africa Regional Consultative Group and several industry bodies, reinforcing TransUnion’s influence within Africa’s financial ecosystem.

Over the past five months, Jeannine successfully guided the Africa Regions portfolio in an interim capacity, working closely with regional leadership teams to sustain performance and growth.

Her key priorities include strengthening regulatory and industry partnerships, enhancing operational delivery, driving growth in both core and emerging markets, and building a future-ready organisation through talent development and regional collaboration.

Lee Naik, CEO and Regional President for TransUnion Africa, commented: “Jeannine has been instrumental in shaping TransUnion Africa’s growth journey over the past nine years. Her deep understanding of our markets, strong commercial acumen and ability to balance strategy with execution make her well suited to lead our Africa Regions. We are confident that under her leadership, TransUnion Africa will continue to deliver meaningful impact for our clients, consumers and partners.”
