The group, which includes the BMW brand, as well as MINI and Motorrad on the same premises, recently expanded its operations to include a new stand for pre-owned vehicles on site.
The group does not only offer vehicle sales, but also an all-encompassing service centre, whether it is BMW group clothing, parts, services and after sales support for most vehicle models. With access control at the main entrance for all visitors, with secure parking while visiting, it creates a safe environment for visitors and vehicles. The newly build state-of-the-art dealership offers ample parking space and it’s conveniently located just past the Nelson Mandela Drive off ramp on the N1 highway.

MINI Bloemfontein is the only MINI dealership in the Free State and Northern Cape and has won numerous awards in recent years. And BMW Motorrad Bloemfontein, which is no stranger to awards, won the South African Motorrad Dealer of the Year award back to back in 2016 and 2017. The BMW division of the dealership was awarded the second place in 2019 at the BMW Group Dealer of the Year awards for new vehicle sales. It walked away with the coveted prize in the same year, being awarded first place in the category for Finance & Business with the highest market share.
The Dealer Principal, Rohan Makaum, started his journey in the parts department at Sovereign BMW, then Bill Troskie Motors, in 1993 and moved up through the ranks to become the Dealer Principal in 2006. To him the pillars of the success of Sovereign BMW are always putting the customer first in everything it does – from the safety and security of clients to product knowledge from the staff.
