Daimler Truck Southern Africa (DTSA), working with Trucking Wellness, has recognised Vallei Organies as the twelfth customer to complete its Fleet Owner Workplace Wellness Programme.
The programme runs under the guidance of the National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry's (NBCRFLI) Trucking Wellness Project.
Built specifically for DTSA customers, the programme is designed to help transport operators establish and embed workplace wellness practices covering employee health, safety and wellbeing. Participating companies are guided through a structured process aimed at strengthening internal wellness policies, with knock on effects for absenteeism, operational performance and fleet uptime.
It forms part of the wider Trucking Wellness Project, which operates a network of fixed roadside wellness centres and mobile healthcare facilities across South Africa's road freight and logistics sector, giving drivers and employees access to primary healthcare services.

Founded in 2006, Vallei Organies operates across agriculture, transport and automotive services through its Vallei Organies, Vallei TPT and Vallei Auto divisions.
