Nampo Harvest Day 2025 is in full swing

Grain SA’s Nampo Agricultural Trade Show, or as it is called in short – Nampo – kicked off on Tuesday and will come an end on Friday, 16 May.

25 Nampo1

Nampo has in recent years become a significant event for vehicle manufacturers displaying their latest offerings with a strong focus on agriculture and business.

Not only did Nampo see new models launched in recent years, but an ever-growing audience (86 474 visitors last year) and in all probability more this year, created a good audience for manufacturers to draw attention to their brands.

The number of exhibitors grew from 830 in 2023 to 865 in 2024 and 920 this year with vehicle, tyre, after-market equipment and other related businesses highlighting their latest products and services making up a large part of what is on display at Nampo.

The variety of products and services also makes for perfect family outings, another important factor for vehicle manufacturers getting the attention of not only one member of the family.

Celebrating its 57th edition, this premier agricultural exhibition continues to be the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, drawing stakeholders from across the globe.

This year’s theme, “Global Agriculture, Locally!”, underscores the importance of integrating international agricultural advancements with South Africa’s unique farming landscape.

Over 920 exhibitors have been displaying innovations spanning precision farming, conservation, agriculture and climate-smart technologies. Literally, the who is who of agricultural brands are present at this year’s show.

To highlight the event’s global credibility, international pavilions from countries such as Canada, the UK, Russia and Brazil are featured.

Some of the diverse array of attractions include the KamersMakers Market, a two hundred square metre space dedicated to lifestyle products; Syngenta Boerkos Farm Kitchen, livestock exhibitions and interactive demonstrations as well as an upgraded 4x4 obstacle course.

Engen, a key partner, will host the Engen Power Hour unveiling its new B2B brand positioning.

Attendance figures in the past were impressive with 2024 recording over 86 000 visitors.
