Maserati SA clarifies its sole official dealer and service network

Maserati addressed recent developments in the South African market regarding unauthorised parties claiming to be official Maserati dealers and service centres. These claims are both false and misleading to customers, and we consider this to be a matter of serious concern.

In a statement it says Maserati S.p.A. maintains the highest standards when selecting importers, distributors and dealer partners in key markets worldwide. To operate as an official Maserati dealership or service centre, a company must pass a selection process and comply fully with strict global brand guidelines. These requirements are non-negotiable and are monitored and enforced by Maserati to ensure consistency in quality, service and brand representation.

“It has come to our attention that certain businesses within South Africa are falsely representing themselves as approved Maserati partners. We therefore wish to make our position unequivocally clear: There is only one official Maserati operation in South Africa.

Maserati South Africa operates under Casa Vehicle Holdings (CVH Auto Group), which is the sole authorised importer, distributor and after-sales provider for Maserati vehicles in the country.

The only authorised Maserati locations in South Africa are:

  • Bryanston dealership and service centre in 2985 Winnie Mandela Drive, Bryanston, Johannesburg.
  • Cape Town satellite service centre, Corner of Hertzog Boulevard and Christiaan Barnard Street, Foreshore, Cape Town.

These are the only locations in South Africa that meet Maserati’s global standards and carry full brand approval.

All official Maserati dealerships around the world, including those in South Africa, can be verified on the official Maserati website.

Customers are strongly advised to refer to this directory to confirm dealer legitimacy before engaging in the purchase or servicing of Maserati vehicles or contacting the call centre at +27(0)800 06 0077. Interacting with unauthorised parties places their vehicles at risk, may void warranties and does not guarantee the use of factory-trained technicians or approved parts, the statement reads.

Maserati South Africa’s Bryanston dealership features a newly renovated showroom and a fully upgraded workshop facility. The Aftersales division, led by Stefano Zanetti and Jacques Geluk, operates under the supervision of Dealer Principal Donovan Eley and comprises technicians trained at the Maserati Academy in Modena, ensuring that every Maserati is maintained to the highest global standard.

“We remain committed to protecting our customers and our brand. Any unauthorised use of the Maserati name or representation of affiliation will be met with appropriate legal action,” the statement notes.
