BAIC South Africa announced its role as the official vehicle sponsor of the Y20 Summit South Africa 2025, providing a fleet of BAIC vehicles to support the transport needs of delegates, organisers and VIP guests at one of the most important gatherings of brave young minds on the planet.
The Y20 Summit is the official youth engagement group of the G20, representing courageous, visionary leaders from all G20 member states, including the United States, China, India, Brazil, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom and South Africa, among others.
The summit will unite over 200 youth delegates from around the world, empowering them to boldly challenge the status quo and co-create solutions for the most pressing global issues.
Main events will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre and at key venues across Johannesburg, Africa’s gateway to innovation and progress.
BAIC South Africa officially handed over a fleet of BAIC X55 Pluses for the event.
“We are honoured to stand behind the next generation of global changemakers,” says Ameena Hassan, of BAIC South Africa. “This summit belongs to the brave, those with the courage to speak up, lead boldly and envision a better world. At BAIC, we pride ourselves on being a bold, future-focused brand, and we are proud to support these young leaders with vehicles built to move boldly and think fearlessly.”
This partnership highlights a shared belief in bold thinking, fearless innovation and meaningful action. With focus areas, including climate action, digital transformation, economic inclusion and the future of work, the Y20 Summit reflects the very ideals that drive BAIC’s mission to build a more intelligent and inclusive mobility future, she says.
