Toyota has announced a few key enhancements to the Rumion in the areas of passenger safety, convenience features as well as exterior styling. Immediate upgrades are in the S and SX models while changes in the range-topping TX will only be introduced in August 2023.
Exterior:
The refreshed Rumion now features a black mesh grille that is larger than that of the outgoing model. This gives the car a poised and slightly more prominent appearance.

Safety:
Safety enhancements include the adoption of VSC, seatbelt warning and rear parking sensors in the S Grade.
Convenience:
Convenience features include a height-adjustable front seatbelt and a seat recliner for the third row in the S Grade. A display audio, reverse camera, cruise control and a front centre console armrest have been added to SX models while the SX AT also gets Hill Assist Control.

Engine:
No new news here. The Toyota Rumion employs the 1.5-litre K15B engine, which delivers 77 kW and 138 Nm. Both 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmissions are offered (grade-dependent).
Pricing:
Rumion 1.5 S (R296 900), Rumion 1.5 SX MT (R331 600) and Rumion 1.5 SX AT (R351 700).
