BMW iX3 crowned World Car of the Year 2026 as EVs lead the way
The BMW iX3 has been named World Car of the Year 2026, with the announcement made at the New York International Auto Show on 1 April.

What is it?
The city hatchback is a safe and affordable hatchback according to Tata with a good safety rating, practical design and is well equipped,” says Tata.
Interior:
It offers features for convenience and an enhanced driver experience with features like the reverse parking camera, infotainment system and hill hold control, which make driving easier than ever. Designed with both comfort and convenience in mind, the Tiago features automatic headlamps and fully automatic temperature control.
Height adjustable driver seats ensure the perfect driving position.
Tech includes a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment systems that is a hub of entertainment and connectivity, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A & C type charging ports ensure that your devices are always powered up.
Boot space measures 242 litres.

Engine:
The Tiago is powered by a 1.2-litre Revotron, three-cylinder engine that offers 63kW and 113Nm of torque.
This engine is paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or a five speed Automated Manual Transmission.
Range:
The Tiago will be offered in three derivatives with varying levels of specification. XM and XT will be launched from 2 September, with the XZ launch to follow.
XM models boast features such as a 3.5-inch Next Generation Infotainment system, rear parking sensors and a fully digital instrument cluster.
The XT derivatives up the ante with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, four speakers, Electronic Stability Program, Hill Hold Control, a reverse camera and steering wheel mounted controls.
The XZ adds 15-inch dual tone alloy wheels, wireless Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, HD Reverse Parking Digital Camera, a fully automatic air conditioner, cruise control, start push button, a new advanced fully digital cluster and LED headlamps to the standard fitments.
