Powerful Final Edition for Mercedes-AMG C63S

The Mercedes-Benz C63S has always been known for its brute force 4.0-litre V8. With the recent unveiling of the new Mercedes-AMG C63 S E-Performance, housing a smaller yet more powerful four-cylinder plug-in hybrid powertrain, the manufacturer has taken a new direction.

That is why Mercedes-AMG has decided to make a what they call, the Final Edition.

The Mercedes-AMG C63S Coupe Final Edition is made to celebrate the success of the W205 C63 generation. The C63S Final Edition is limited to 499 units and houses an array of features and specifications that differ from the standard C63S.

What’s new?

To help distinguish the Mercedes-AMG C63S Coupe Final Edition from the standard C63s, there are yellow decals painted on the bonnet and side skirts. The exterior of the C63S Final Edition is painted with a MANUFAKTUR Graphite Grey Magno paint, which is the only colour available for this model.

It sits on 19-inch Cross-Spoke Design Alloy Wheels in a Diamond Cut Finish on the front wheels and 20-inches on the rear tyres.

The Final Edition boasts the Premium Package and AMG Aerodynamic pack, which make the car a lot more aggressive with an enlarged front splitter and rear wing. On the inside, you are welcomed with the AMG Matt Carbon Fibre interior trim as standard. Other interior upgrades include the two tone Black & Magma Grey leather interior.

The performance side of things is just as impressive as it does 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. The Final Edition has a total output of 375 kW and 700 Nm of torque. It uses the AMG Speedshift MCT 9-Speed automatic transmission.

The Mercedes AMG C63S final edition is limited to 499 units.

Pricing is yet to be confirmed for SA, but elsewhere it is priced at $239 000 (roughly R4.3 million).
