Range Rover has revealed its latest, exquisitely curated offer from SV Bespoke – the Range Rover SV Onyx Edition – at the inaugural Range Rover House South Africa.
What is it?
The Range Rover SV Onyx Edition draws inspiration from Black Onyx, a silicate mineral with a rich history across cultures, associated with stability and grounding and often used in fine jewellery and objets d’art. Unveiled at a luxurious private villa, just seven limited examples will be available, exclusively for the African continent.
Exterior:
The exterior of the Range Rover SV Onyx Edition features Bespoke Black body paint, extending to the mirror caps, and a Corinthian Bronze contrast roof accentuates the exterior, complemented by a Bespoke Exterior Pack, which features Corinthian Bronze and Anthracite finishes.
The Black Onyx inspiration can also be seen in the Bespoke ‘RANGE ROVER’ script badging, with Corinthian Bronze surrounds and Narvik Black inserts, 23” diamond-turned alloy wheels in Dark Oblivion Grey with Corinthian Bronze inserts and black brake callipers.
Interior:
The Bespoke treatment extends to the interior, which features unique Caraway and Ebony leather seats, scatter cushions and interior surfaces. The front and rear seats feature ebony contrast stitching and Onyx Edition embroidery. A set of ‘1 of 7’ branded treadplates signify the exclusivity of the Range Rover SV Onyx Edition.
The Onyx Edition is unmistakably Range Rover throughout, including wireless device charging, an auto-folding load space cover, powered gesture tailgate, ClearSight interior rear-view mirror, four-zone climate control and soft door close, among many other convenience features.
Equipment:
Driver assistance comes in the form of automatic emergency braking, blind spot assist, 3D surround camera, adaptive cruise control with steering assist, park assist, lane keep assist, rear collision and rear traffic monitor, and an electrically deployable tow bar.
Underpinned by 75 years of Land Rover expertise, the Range Rover SV Onyx Edition benefits from electronic air suspension with Dynamic Response Pro, Electronic Active Differential with Torque Vectoring by Braking, configurable programs and adaptive off-road cruise control.
Price:
The Range Rover SV Onyx Edition will cost R5 800 000.
