Land Rover announced that the latest incarnations of the brand’s Range Rover Velar and Range Rover Evoque are now available in South Africa.
What’s new?
Range Rover Velar:
The New Range Rover Velar features the latest technology, Range Rover refinement and a clean and reductive new design. A new grille combines with the characteristic floating roof, unbroken waistline and flush deployable door handles.
The Range Rover Velar pioneered Range Rover’s reductive design philosophy, which is elevated to a new level inside these latest models. The new single floating 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen is positioned within the driver’s eyeline, providing immediate and intuitive control of all key functions, while liberating space for interior stowage and wireless device charging. The new centre console is powered by Pivi Pro3, with regular Software Over The Air4 drops.
Range Rover Evoque:
The New Range Rover Evoque, similarly, boasts a new reductive design enhanced with the latest technologies and luxurious material choices. Both models (Velar and the Evoque) feature super-slim Pixel LED headlights with signature DRL, which deliver superior visibility as well as a technical, jewel-like appearance.
A leather-free cabin option is available in both the Velar and Evoque. The tactile material options include non-leather UltrafabricsTM and KvadratTM textile seats.
Cabin Air Purification Plus makes its debut in the Evoque and continues to be offered in the Velar as part of the optional Comfort Pack (or standard on Autobiography) to help promote occupant well-being and driver alertness by providing superior air quality.
Drivetrain:
The new Range Rover Velar and Evoque are offered with a comprehensive selection of power choices to suit every client. These include a range of smooth Ingenium petrol and diesel engines, alongside plug-in electric hybrid models with rapid DC charging to ensure swift charging away from home.
