The world got its first look at the marque at Auto Shanghai in April 2023. Under Chery’s vision, iCAUR promotes the goal of catering to drivers who are young at heart.

The brand is preparing for its official market launch in the first quarter of 2026 and will operate alongside Omoda and Jaecoo. Chery recently made its way onto the Fortune Global 500 list, having surpassed 600 000 global sales across all three brands in 27 months.

The city-smart V23 will be taking centre stage at the iCAUR booth as a display model at the Festival of Motoring giving visitors a taste of what to expect when the brand’s full line-up arrives on local dealership floors.

Shannon Gahagan, National Brand and Marketing Manager at iCAUR South Africa, says the team has spent countless hours preparing for this highly anticipated moment. “We are incredibly excited to introduce iCAUR to South Africa in such a dynamic setting. The Festival of Motoring is the perfect stage to share our vision of mobility with people who love cars, design and innovation.”

The Festival of Motoring is South Africa’s premier automotive conference, giving consumers the best opportunity to interact with the best that the industry has to offer in terms of personal mobility.
