“Our dealer network is constantly expanding. This growth reflects the confidence of our dealer partners and the increasing recognition of DFSK as a reliable, value-driven automotive brand in South Africa,” says Gina Giani, MD of DFSK South Africa.

DFSK’s current line-up of panel vans and bakkies has quickly found favour with last mile delivery services, such as courier services, grocery delivery providers and tradesmen and a growing number of fleet customers who choose DFSK’s range with a starting price of R173 000.

The brand’s growth has been fuelled by an extensive model line-up that includes a trio of workhorses in both the bakkie and panel van body styles.

The DFSK C35 Panel Van is designed to meet the demanding needs of South African entrepreneurs, offering a 5.1m³ payload volume, making it ideal for logistics, delivery services and tradesmen.

The DFSK EC35 electric panel van merges the practicality and load carrying ability of a panel van with the clean and cost-effective attributes of a fully electric drivetrain. An impressive range of up to 240km and the ability to be charged to 80% in less than an hour, result in a vehicle that is perfect for inner city and urban logistics and deliveries.

The DFSK K01S Bakkie is a compact yet powerful load carrier that can lift 985kg and is designed for tradesmen, small business owners and anyone in need of a reliable workhorse.

In 2026, DFSK will look to move into new market segments with the launch of its first passenger models, which will include an SUV and a double cab bakkie.

The DSFK E5 Plus SUV, promises a bold, modern design and hybrid technology. DFSK also plans to introduce the C35 four-seater and C32 double cab, both of which are built on the brand’s proven C35 platform.

In order to support the brands local expansion, the DFSK head office was recently renovated into a state-of-the-art facility that reflects the modern spirit of the brand.

The local parts warehouse has also been completely upgraded, with DFSK maintaining a large inventory of service and repair parts related to the entire model range on offer. This ensures strong after-sales support to the growing dealer network and expanding customer base.

All DFSK models are covered by a three-year/60 000km warranty. During the brand’s first year of operation, a warranty claim rate of below 0.5% has confirmed the excellent build quality and inherent reliability of the model range, the manufacturer claims.
