What’s new?

The whole refreshed FIT range now has new and sporty styling, in addition to enhanced specification levels.

Exterior:

There are revised bumpers that create a more cohesive aesthetic look, while retaining the shape of the Fit with clean, crisp horizontal lines.

This more characterful style is evident on all three grades: the Comfort, Elegance and the Fit eHEV. Not only through the refreshed honeycomb grille design and grained lower front bumper insert, but also with a more sculpted appearance and grained material finish to the rear bumper.

The window frames and pillar trim now feature a more stylish matte black finish. On all Fit grades, the headlight projector ring surround is now finished in black.

Interior and equipment:

In addition to the recently introduced Fit eHEV facelift, the facelifted Fit (ICE) variants are available in two derivatives – Comfort and Elegance, which have undergone comprehensive updates to their standard specification levels, while the Fit Executive variant has been discontinued.

A host of advanced features, including LED headlights and Daytime Running lights, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Smart Keyless Entry, Honda’s flagship 9-inch HMI Infotainment system and Honda SENSING™ are now standard features across the model range. The Fit Elegance variant now also gains a new wireless Smartphone charger in addition to the above-mentioned specification enhancements.

Enhanced Honda SENSING™ active safety technology offers a broad range of driver assistance features and aids as standard, thanks to a front wide-view camera with a broader field of vision and night-time operation, increasing safety in many situations.

The camera recognises a comprehensive range of road surface and traffic characteristics, while also eliminating fogging for a constantly clear field of view, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Road Departure Mitigation System and Auto High-Beam.

The 1.5 litre petrol-engine remains unchanged.

Price:

The price includes a 5-year/200 000 km warranty, a 4-year/60 000 km service plan, and 3 years AA roadside assistance.

The Hybrid includes an additional warranty of 8-year/200 000 km covering the battery and other related components of the Hybrid system.

1.5 Comfort CVT (R379 900), 1.5 Elegance CVT (R415 900) and the 1.5 Hybrid eCVT (R544 900).
