Hot on the heels of being named a finalist for the South African Car of the Year, the Citroën C3 range has a new addition, the C3 MAX.
This newest iteration of the Citroën C3 line-up is tailored to meet the needs of our South African customers, offering carefully curated enhancements while maintaining exceptional value.
What’s new?
The Citroën C3 MAX represents a fusion of style and versatility, crafted as a crossover that epitomises the spirit of modern motoring, and while technically the FEEL and MAX are the same, it is the extras that make the difference.
Exterior:
The comprehensive specification of the C3 FEEL is taken to a new level for the new C3 MAX. Starting off the style stakes is the standard fitment of 15-inch alloy wheels for added style and presence.
Front fog lights enhance the front-end styling further, while a rear skid plate provides underbody protection for the more adventurous. Assisting overall manoeuvring is the addition of a rearview camera. All these features add an even greater value proposition to the C3 MAX.
Interior:
A key area of focus is the internal ambience set off by trim options available to South African customers. On the dashboard, the horizontal upper section features a new high-quality anodised finish incorporating a chevron-textured pattern that is warm to touch and pleasing to the eye. South Africans have two dual-tone options on the dashboard, setting off the dual-tone roof options available externally.
The driver also gets a new 7-inch (17.8 cm), colour TFT cluster screen with up to 6 modes for displaying vehicle information, as well as options to monitor trip computer, fuel consumption and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System to aid eco driving. Settings and colour schemes can be configured to driver preferences using toggle controls on the tilt-adjustable steering wheel.
Engine:
The new C3 MAX is powered by the same engine as in the FEEL, a 2-litre naturally aspirated engine with 61 kW and 115 Nm of torque connected to a five-speed manual gear box.
Prices:
Citroën C3 FEEL 1.2 (R236 900) and the Citroën C3 MAX 1.2 (R249 900).
