Eight automakers were named in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026. They include Geely Auto BMW, Mercedes-Benz Group, Stellantis, Toyota, Volkswagen, Hyundai Motor, and Ford.
Geely was selected from over 9 200 companies across 59 industries. In addition to its inclusion, Geely has been honoured with the prestigious “Industry Mover” distinction, recognising the company’s significant progress in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance over the past year.
Geely’s strong performance is based on its results in S&P Global’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), one of the most influential global benchmarks for corporate sustainability. The recognition highlights the company’s continued investment in responsible business practices, innovation, and long-term sustainable growth.
This achievement also reflects Geely’s consistent ESG performance over time. The group has been included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) for three consecutive years and has maintained the top CSA score among Chinese automakers, further strengthening its position within the global automotive industry.
As sustainability becomes an increasingly important focus for the automotive sector, Geely continues to advance its efforts across electrification, environmental responsibility, and intelligent mobility solutions.
This recognition supports Geely’s broader vision of delivering safer, smarter, and more sustainable mobility solutions to markets worldwide, including South Africa.
