JLR Stellenbosch takes top honours as Retailer of the Year
JLR South Africa honoured its top-performing retailers at its annual Retailer of the Year awards ceremony, held at JLR Experience Centre in Lonehill.

Top honours went to JLR Stellenbosch, which scooped up the prestigious Retailer of the Year title, followed by JLR Pietermaritzburg and JLR East Rand, which were named first and second runners-up, respectively.
JLR East Rand returned to the podium to claim the Client Experience Retailer of the Year award. Second and third place in this category went to JLR Stellenbosch and JLR Hillcrest, respectively.
The last big prize went to JLR Pietermaritzburg, which was crowned Sales Retailer of the Year, followed by JLR Stellenbosch in second place and JLR Nelspruit in third.

Viola Rossouw, Network Development and Performance Director at JLR South Africa, says the awards honour retailers who have excelled at embodying JLR’s modern luxury brand ethos and demonstrating it in all aspects of their business to the benefit of the clients. “It is a way to recognise and reward the efforts of the individuals and businesses that have consistently excelled over the past year.”

Richard Gouverneur, Managing Director JLR South Africa & sub-Sahara Africa, congratulated the winners and notably JLR Stellenbosch. “Through these awards we acknowledge the significant contribution each winner has made in elevating the JLR brand in South Africa.
“In addition to sales performance, client experience was a key determining factor in the final rankings, as we strive to offer a truly modern luxury experience to our clients throughout the entire ownership journey. All those who were recognised this year excelled in this regard.”
The top-performing retailers excelled in various areas, including conversion of leads to sales, following up on leads percentage, integrated department campaigns in QMP planning, adherence to modern luxury principles and guidelines, and effective capture and use of ROI. The grand prize – the Retailer of the Year award – recognises combined overall performance across all the judging criteria.

Other honourable mentions went to JLR Pietermaritzburg, which was named Sales Champion and Quality Champion, and JLR East Rand, which took the Service Champion and F&I Champion awards.
JLR Nelspruit was named APO Champion, JLR Constantiaberg claimed the Parts Champion award, while JLR Sandton and JLR Bryanston took Marketing Champion and Finance Champion, respectively.
