Westvaal Citroën confident about the future

Towards the end of last year, Peugeot Citroën South Africa appointed its new dealer for the Somerset West/Helderberg region, which opened its doors in November 2019.

Westvaal Citroën Somerset West is spearheaded by Dealer Principal, Juan van Deventer

The latest new-car showroom in the Citroen stable is situated in Victoria Road, Somerset West, and took over responsibility for servicing and maintaining Citroën customers previously utilising Citroën Helderberg, which had shortly before ceased operations in the area.

Westvaal Citroën Somerset West is spearheaded by Dealer Principal, Juan van Deventer, while service and maintenance requirements are being overseen by Service Manager, Robin Jane.

“Our immediate plans for the dealership are to build strong personal relationships with our customers and offer a superior customer service,” says Van Deventer.

“The transition has been a huge success after the lockdown period. Our loyal customers have been supporting us after this period, and we have increased sales tremendously. We are very thankful to all our customers who have supported us through these trying times.”

A dedicated Service Centre ensures that repairs, services and maintenance work are being expertly carried out on all Citroën vehicles.

“We are also focusing on aftersales and sales services to gain our customers’ confidence in the Citroën brand, and we aim to improve the turnaround time in providing parts and service so that we can exceed our customer’s expectations and increase customer satisfaction,” says Van Deventer.

The sales department for new vehicles used to be run by Sales Manager, Ashley Hoffeldt who passed away recently. A new manager has not been appointed yet. Sales consultants Eloise Klop, Alana Sykes, Bradley Rudolph, Pat Nell and Jaydee van der Westhuizen are looking after new-car buyers, while Werner Meyer looks after used car sales with the help of Jacques Fourie, Darren Arries, Denvar Fisher and Charl van der Walt.

Louise Scholtz runs the Parts Department and is supported by sales consultants David Cyfers, Reagen Daniel, Cameron Marang en Sipho Barda, their driver.
