Mokhethi Monareng, the new Dealer Principal who joined Ford Tygervalley in the northern suburbs of Cape Town in January 2020, has an innovative feel-good technique when it comes to handing over a customer’s new pride and joy: the staff in the showroom all come together, roll out the red carpet and do a spur-of-the-moment dance.
Mokhethi (pronounced mook-ge-ti with an Afrikaans-like guttural ggg-sound) and his team also posted a dancing video to show their appreciation when the dealer network was allowed to reopen in May.
