What is it?

Toyota has launched its latest SUV offering called the Urban Cruiser Taisor in India, and this marks a noteworthy addition to Toyota’s growing passenger line-up. The Urban Cruiser Taisor is competitively priced in the Indian market and emerges as an accessible choice in the subcompact SUV segment.

Exterior:

In terms of exterior design, the Urban Cruiser Taisor sports a striking front facade with a bold honeycomb mesh grille in gloss black finish, which is complemented by twin LED DRLs and the iconic Toyota emblem at the centre. The rear design includes revamped LED taillights connected by a light bar on the boot, and this maintains the model's sleek appeal with its raked rear windscreen.

Interior:

Inside the cabin, the Urban Cruiser Taisor offers a familiar yet refined ambiance, featuring a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The cabin also boasts an array of features, including automatic climate control, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto.

Engines:

Although the model line-up and engine choices have not been finalised, the familiar 1500 petrol engine used in a wide variety of Toyota and Suzuki vehicles will in all probability be seen in the range.

Toyota South Africa Motors has confirmed that the Urban Cruiser Taisor will be introduced in the local market under a model name yet to be announced. Further details about the SA version of Urban Cruiser Taisor will be made closer to its launch date.
