Since entering the South African market in September 2024, Jetour has established itself as one of the country’s top 15 automotive brands. Its 5-seater Dashing and 7-seater X70 Plus have outperformed many well-established competitors.
Both dealer satisfaction and customer service have further contributed to the success of the brand, with Jetour achieving Gold Status in the 2025 National Automobile Dealers’ Association (NADA) Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) survey.
This month also saw the official launch of the Jetour Owners Club in South Africa, offering members exclusive discounts, access to special events and tailored deals on merchandise, accessories and experiences.
The T1 and T2 represent the next exciting step in Jetour’s journey in South Africa, with their more rugged, boxy design. The T1 and T2 share the same platform, engine and drivetrain, but the T2 is slightly taller, wider and longer.
Both can have all-wheel drive, but the T2 is better suited for light off-road adventures, while the T1 is more for city streets. Inside, both models come with high-quality finishes and the latest tech and innovation.
Globally, the T1 has been celebrated as a versatile urban lite off-road SUV, blending comfort with adventure-ready capability. The adventure-ready T2 has become a standout in the off-road segment, rapidly gaining popularity for its rugged design and adaptability for both family travel and off-road experiences.
These T-series models are already available in China, Indonesia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Angola and Panama. South Africa will be the first right-hand drive market to receive these new models.
