What’s new?

The new CR-V boasts a newly enhanced global architecture, is larger, more luxurious on the inside, and the Honda 1.5-litre turbo petrol-engine has been updated. The CR-V has new and improved safety and driver assist technologies.

Exterior:

The latest CR-V is 115 mm longer, 10 mm wider, and the wheelbase expands by 40 mm with the attendant benefits.

The Honda design direction makes for a low horizontal beltline, a longer front end and clean detailing.

The very prominent grille and headlight lay-out is reminiscent of other models in the Honda family. At the back, there is familiarity in the way the rear light stretches upwards towards the roofline.

The range-topping Exclusive grade features even bolder styling, including more aggressive front and rear facias and even sportier grille mesh highlighted with a gloss black accent. The Exclusive grade is the only trim with polished stainless-steel exhaust finishers, Front & Rear sport bumpers, 19-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof.

Interior:

Inside, the new CR-V is quieter, more comfortable and more versatile, with increased cabin and cargo space. Premium, high-quality materials, upscale touches and improved visibility are part of the redesigned interior, a fresh take on Honda’s interior introduced with the 2022 Civic.

The wide instrument panel features clean surfacing and a striking metal honeycomb mesh that conceals the air vents for an uncluttered and harmonious look. New front Body Stabilising Seats reduce fatigue and improve posture.

Intuitive and intelligent technology has been smartly integrated into the cabin. Standard features include a digital instrument display, a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration, plus wireless phone charging.

Engine:

Multiple enhancements to the 1.5-liter turbo provide a more refined driving experience and enhanced power delivery of 140 kW and torque of 240 Nm. Power is transferred to the front wheels via a CVT.

Price:

1.5T Exclusive FWD (R1 039 900) and the 1.5T Executive FWD (R959 900).
