What is new?
The Mazda 2.0-litre Active Auto is a completely new model added to the line-up. It replaces the entry-level 2.0-litre Active with a manual gearbox and sits just underneath the 2.0-litre Dynamic-model with an automatic gearbox. This gives the line-up a more affordable automatic version with extended spec from the previous Active model.
Interior:
Apart from the automatic gearbox the additional specification level above that of the manual model, include Mazda’s MZD Connect infotainment system, a six-speaker sound system and two USB ports.
Further to that the new model also boasts Bluetooth, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob, rear centre-seat armrest, i-Stop shutting of the engine when the vehicle is stationary), an 8 inch display screen, Android Auto and Apple Car Play as well as a commander dial for selecting functions on the display.
The doors also lock once the vehicle is in motion on all the models now.
The exterior stays the same and under the bonnet it is business as usual with the well-known 2.0-litre SKYACTIV-G engine, producing 115kW and 206Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
On the safety side Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), cruise control, and Hill Launch Assist (HLA) is included.
