LDV South Africa has introduced the T60 Max Plus, slotting in among the more powerful derivatives in its class, above the T60 Pro and T60 Elite.
What Is It?
The T60 Max Plus is a new addition to the T60 double cab family. It joins a busy run of recent LDV launches, including the T60 Utility Single Cab, T60 Utility Double Cab, G10+ panel van, Deliver 9 commercial van and the D90 Elite seven seat SUV. These sit alongside the existing T60 Elite Double Cab, T60 Pro Double Cab, D90 Flagship and Terron 9 in the local line up.
Interior:
The cabin focuses on comfort, convenience and connectivity. Features include dual 12.3-inch digital displays, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, leather trimmed seats, six way electrically adjustable and heated front seats, a heated multifunction steering wheel, climate control with rear air vents, and keyless entry with push button start.
Exterior:
The T60 Max Plus is fitted with 18-inch black alloy wheels, a gloss black front grille, black wheel arches and a black sports bar. Practical figures include an 830kg payload and 3 000kg braked towing capacity, with a load box measuring 1 485mm long, 1 510mm wide and 530mm high, four tie down hooks, a spray in tub liner and tailgate assist. The wheelbase measures 3 175mm.
Powertrain:
The T60 Max Plus, a new double cab 4x4 powered by a 2.0 litre bi turbo Euro V diesel engine producing 160kW and 500Nm of torque. Drive goes through an eight-speed automatic transmission with a selectable four-wheel drive system offering 2WD, 4WD High and 4WD Low modes, plus Eco and Sport driving modes
Price and warranty:
The LDV T60 Max Plus is priced from R699 000 and comes with a five year or 200 000km warranty.
