Jetour has launched its new T1 and T2 models locally, which will officially go on sale mid-November at over 55 Jetour dealerships across Southern Africa.
What is it?
It’s a new SUV series that embodies ruggedness, capability and adventure-readiness, offering not just a vehicle, but a lifestyle, says Jetour about its new T1 and T2.
The Jetour T1:
The compact and versatile Jetour T1 has been designed for city streets and beyond, with four T1 models available: the 1.5TD 2-wheel drive Edge, 1.5TD 2-wheel drive Aspire, the 2.0TD 4-wheel drive Xplora and the top of the range, 4-wheel drive 2.0TD Odyssey.
All T1 models feature 540° panoramic view cameras, rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring and LED lighting, including front fog lights, automatic headlights and rear tail lights. Practical features, such as electrically adjustable heated mirrors, roof racks and privacy glass, enhance convenience.
The T1’s engines include the 1.5TD (125kW) and 2.0TD (180kW) paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The XWD intelligent 4-wheel drive system, high ground clearance and 8 driving modes (Xplora and Odyssey only), including Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand and X-mode, deliver adaptability across terrains.
Inside, the T1 combines tech and comfort with a 15.6” infotainment screen (Xplora and Odyssey only), dual-layer soundproof glass for a quiet cabin, cloud-like ergonomic seats, and a spacious interior with flexible storage. The Odyssey model features a Sony 9-speaker surround sound system for an immersive audio experience.
T1 prices:
The T1 Edge is priced at R514 900, followed by the T1 Aspire at R544 900, the T1 Xplora at R594 900, and the flagship T1 Odyssey at R634 900.
The Jetour T2:
The more rugged and adventure-ready Jetour T2, combines the agility of a compact SUV with the versatility needed for weekend getaways, delivering off-road performance. Jetour is bringing three T2 variants to South Africa.
The line-up includes the 2-wheel drive 1.5TD Aspire with 125kW power and 270Nm torque and two 4-wheel drive options: the 2.0TD Xplora and 2.0TD Odyssey, both delivering 180kW power and 375Nm torque.
Safety, convenience and technology are standard across the T2 range, including 540° panoramic view cameras, rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring and LED lighting throughout.
Practical touches such as electrically adjustable heated mirrors, roof racks, privacy glass, illuminated door sills and a space-saver spare wheel (Aspire only) enhance everyday usability.
T2 prices:
The new Jetour T2 range is priced at R569 900 for the Aspire, the T2 Xplora at R639 900, and the flagship T2 Odyssey R679 900.
