JAC Motors has launched its new T9 Hunter Limited Edition, celebrating the T9's record-breaking 24-hour endurance run at Gerotek near Pretoria, where it achieved 4 084km at an average speed of 170.1 km/h.
What is it?
The T9 Hunter, based on the top-spec T9 Super Lux, delivers enhanced performance and offers customised accessories, underscoring its position as the T-Series' ultimate range-topping model.
Engine:
The T9 Hunter delivers over 15% more performance than the current T9 line-up, producing 144kW and 487Nm from its 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine, connected to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. The T9 Hunter will soon be offered in both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations, available in all eight colours across the range.
Since 1 September 2025, torque across all T9 Lux and Super Lux derivatives has been increased from 410Nm to 444Nm. This enhancement improves drivability, especially for customers hauling heavy trailers or caravans, while offering the upgraded performance at no additional cost.
The T9 line-up is available in eight colours: Star Grey, Grey, Silver, White, Black, Red, Yellow and Blue.
T9 owners can personalise their vehicles with a range of JAC Motors’ accessories, tailored to suit both practical work requirements and adventurous lifestyle preferences.
