Where does it fit in?
Positioned above the V23, the 03T combines distinctive design, advanced technology and a choice of drivetrains, adding further depth to the country’s new-energy vehicle market.
Exterior:
The 03T presents a bold design with geometric lines, upright proportions and pronounced wheel arches. Slim lighting elements and clean surfaces give it a modern appearance, while LED head- and taillights and a panoramic glass sunroof enhance its character.
The body is built from an all-aluminium multi-cavity cage, reducing weight by more than 30 per cent and offering corrosion resistance for up to 30 years. Paint options include Khaki White, Carbon Crystal Black, Cyan Grey, Starlight Silver and Toronto Red.
Performance and range:
The 2WD model uses a single rear-mounted motor producing 135kW and 220Nm, supported by a 65.69kWh battery. It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 10.5 seconds and has an NEDC-estimated range of 431 km.
The AWD version employs a dual-motor setup delivering 205kW and 385Nm, paired with a larger 69.77kWh battery. It reaches 100km/h in 6.5 seconds and offers a range of 436km. Both models are limited to 150km/h and can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in 30 minutes using DC fast charging.
Interior:
The interior provides seating for five with a wheelbase of 2 715 mm and a boot capacity of 450 litres, expandable to 1 238 litres. The 2WD trim includes climate control, leather upholstery, ambient lighting and heated, ventilated front seats with lumbar adjustment. The AWD adds massage functions and an adjustable leg rest for the front passenger.
Technology highlights include a 15.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice command functionality and wireless device charging. The 2WD is fitted with an eight-speaker audio system, while the AWD gains a 12-speaker Infinity system.
Safety:
Both models feature six airbags, ISOFIX points, ESP, traction control and a 540-degree surround-view camera. Driver assistance systems include Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane-Keep Assist, Blind Spot Detection and Traffic Jam Assist.
Pricing:
The 03T 2WD is priced at R639 900, while the AWD costs R699 900. Sales begin on 28 May 2026.
