We recently reported on the arrival of the new CX-60, the big brother in the Mazda range on local shores.
And now the manufacturer has announced that a top-of-the-range version of the CX-60 is on its way to South Africa. (https://dealerfloor.co.za/product-news/new-flagship-for-mazda-range-in-sa)
The new model in the Mazda CX-60 range will be the flagship with its 3.3-litre in-line 6-cylinder Turbodiesel Mild Hybrid. The powerplant produces 158 kW and 550 Nm while the Dynamic and AWD Individual versions use a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol-engine that delivers 141 kW and 261 Nm.

The Mazda CX-60 Takumi features an exclusive front bumper design, a bar type piano black grille, a bright metal finish to the front signature wings, side signatures and glazing surrounds, and 20-inch, black metallic, diamond-cut machined alloy wheels.
According to Craig Roberts, MD of Mazda Southern Africa: “The CX-60 is a brilliant SUV in any derivative, and we are thrilled to be adding the Takumi to our local range.”
The Mazda CX-60 Takumi is expected to arrive in South Africa in February 2024. Pricing and full specifications will be confirmed closer to the time.
