DFSK expanding offering in South Africa

DFSK’s current vehicle line-up in the country will expand with the addition of new petrol versions of the DFSK K01S Bakkie and the DFSK C35 Panel Van while on the electric vehicle side, the DFSK EC35 and EC31 are already familiar ‘faces’ locally.

At the heart of DFSK’s expansion in South Africa is Gina Giani, a seasoned automotive professional with a wealth of experience in the South African motoring industry. With a proven track record in managing and growing automotive brands, Gina brings deep local market insights to DFSK.

Regarding DSFK’s EVs and ICEs – Enviro Auto has a joint venture with Wilgin Holdings. Enviro Auto imports electric vehicles and Wilgin the ICE vehicles and the distribution of parts.

Dealerfloor reported in 2023 about the possibility of local manufacturing, but a spokesperson says the numbers at this stage do not support local production. Wilgin Holdings is the importer and distributor of DFSK.

Wilgin has a dealer network of 22 dealers, and it will increase to 32 dealerships by June this year.
