A long-time admired icon performance model from the USA, which has not been available locally, has arrived in South Africa.
The good news is that the iconic Corvette Stingray has landed in South Africa and is now exclusively available through CVH Auto Group with the steering wheel placed where the law requires it – on the right-hand side.
With a price of around R3 700 000, do not expect to see them around every corner. It is not only the price but the competition that makes this genre that leaves potential buyers spoiled for choice.
For the same amount of money, give or take a couple of hundred thousand rand, you could also buy certain models from Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and some others.
The Corvette Stingray will be available in coupé and convertible body styles, and it is fully homologated with finance and insurance available, say the importers of the vehicles to South Africa.
With 369kW of naturally aspirated V8 power, a 0 to 100km/h sprint-time of just 3.5 seconds and an aggressive aerodynamic design, the Stingray delivers an unparalleled driving experience, says the CVH Auto Group. Every model comes standard with the Z51 Performance Package, ensuring it is as capable on the track as it is on the open road.
The line-up includes the highly sought-after Corvette Stingray in both convertible and coupé, and the more aggressive Corvette Z06 will also be available.
Showroom viewings are now open at CVH Auto Group in Bryanston.
