Autogroup International (AGI) announced the launch of its 2024 range of Armoured vehicles and luxury CEO ‘private jet’ Interiors based on the right-hand drive GMC Yukon Denali XL SUV and right-hand drive GMC Sierra Denali 2500 Heavy Duty Pick-up truck, which are now available to order for South Africa.
Rob Hill,(CEO Autogroup International, tells Dealerfloor that they are in early-stage discussions with several groups about setting up a facility in South Africa. “Currently, we work either with some dealers or more often directly with the client.
“Our clients tend to come to us, so they work directly with the manufacturer and have the freedom to select a specific unit – this is very true with bigger pick-ups/bakkies when clients want an F-250/350/450 or a GMC Sierra pick-up and they save some money.
“All of our vehicles are converted to ADR standards within our ISO 9001:2015 quality assurance facility – so it’s a quite straight forward process. And we have been in business for 30 years so we have created a lot of trust in our markets,” he says.
The GMC Yukon Denali XL and the GMC Sierra 2500 HD in Right Hand Drive were specifically selected owing to their already high-performance engines, heavy duty design and vehicle size. These vehicles are then transformed with our B6 Armouring protection and the unique private jet style luxurious CEO interiors.

The GMC Yukon Denali XL, with a bespoke, private jet style CEO Interior, offers extraordinary luxury, comfort, privacy and functionality and is used by heads of state, dignitaries, celebrities, royal families and business leaders worldwide.
The bespoke CEO interior package offers a comprehensive and luxurious retrofit of the entire rear passenger cabin by removing the existing middle and rear seats and features a 4.5” raised roof with starlight headliner, a full privacy divider with 40” HD TV, premium Maybach-style reclining captain’s chairs, a Sonos sound system, global 5G communications, emergency strobe lights and the finest quality, handmade interior trim materials plus many more features.
The Chairman is a Right-hand drive Armoured GMC Yukon Denali XL discreetly armoured to B6 (EN 1063 BR6) level of all-round ballistic protection from 7.62 mm ammunition and up to 2 (two) DM51 hand grenades detonated underneath the vehicle simultaneously. Volkswagen has added two new derivatives to its T-Cross line-up for the 2025 model year. The T-Cross has been the best-selling Volkswagen SUV with over 36 000 cars sold since its launch in 2019.
