Audi South Africa announced the launch of a number of special-edition derivatives across key product ranges.
What’s New?
Black Edition and Urban Edition models boast additional cosmetic and functional features and will be available in the market from early 2024, along with compelling Audi Assured offers.
The range:
The first models to receive the Black Edition treatment are Audi South Africa’s sophisticated A4 and S4 sedan ranges. On the A4, the Black Edition package can be selected for the 35 TFSI, 35 TDI and 40 TFSI models, while it’s also an option on the S4 TFSI.
Only 100 A4 Black Edition versions will be imported to South Africa, making these derivatives a highly unique sight on our roads. In the case of the A4 Black Edition, the cost of this special-edition model is significantly lower were these items to be optioned individually. These models are available immediately.
Exterior:
Some of the signature features of the A4 Black Edition models include Black Styling Package, including black badging, Matrix LED headlights, Privacy glass, 19-inch alloy wheels and a glass sunroof.
Interior:
The Technology package, including MMI navigation and Audi Connect, three-zone comfort automatic air-conditioning, electrically adjustable front seats, Nappa leather with S embossing and Audi’s virtual cockpit, plus a rear-view camera.
The S4 Black Edition, meanwhile, includes the following unique elements aside from many of the aforementioned features:
Bang & Olufsen Premium sound system with 3D sound, sport seats, including electric adjustment, carbon boot spoiler, pneumatically adjustable lumbar support with massage function for front seats and seat heating.
Pricing:
Audi A4 35 TFSI S tronic Black Edition (R900 000), Audi A4 35 TDI S tronic Black Edition (R946 800), Audi A4 40 TFSI S tronic Black Edition (R952 400) and the Audi S4 TFSI quattro tiptronic Black Edition (R1 274 900).
More models:
In 2024, Audi South Africa will extend the Black Edition treatment to a number of key product ranges, including the Q2, A3 and S3, A5 and S5, Q3 SUV and Sportback, plus the Q5 SUV and Sportback. These will be rolled out progressively throughout the year.
Additionally next year, the brand will add the option of an Urban Edition to the A3 Sportback 35 TFSI, as well as the Q2 35 TFSI, providing a different offer to the Black Edition.
