To stimulate sales post lockdown, Motus Honda and Subaru West Rand’s Dealer Principal, Colin Chipps, decided to run a competition where each salesperson was asked to produce their own promotional video.
According to the General Sales Manager, Maxine Prince, the Honda & Subaru team are working hard at raising the bar when it comes to the quality of the sales staff, in order to better understand and serve their customers. “We believe there is definitely a need for this in the market and are determined to raise the bar,” she told Dealerfloor. “That is why we are fortunate to have a DP that understands how important it is to mix a bit of fun with hard work and the in-house competition proved to be a hit!”
The winner of the R1000 prize money is 24-year old sales executive, André Reynders.
Reynders won the Honda Sales Executive of the year in 2019, his first year in the motor industry! Have a look at the video he made to promote the 2020 Honda CRV 1.5T Executive here:

A renewed focus on customer care and the well-being of the employees, is high on the agenda of Jaco du Preez, newly appointed General Manager at Waterberg Toyota in Limpopo.
