Steve Bailey, General Manager, told Dealerfloor the Supertech Motorrad workshop services riders in KwaZulu-Natal’s Midlands, the South Coast and the Eastern Cape, but being the closest Motorrad dealer for clients is only half the reason behind his team winning the After Sales award two years running.
Excellent customer service is the other half and the reason why one owner sent his motorbike from as far as East London for maintenance.
The two men who can lay claim to be at the start of this excellent service are Felix Jaka and Kashveer Barak, who man the Parts Counter Sales desk.
Barak said he is confident the end of 2020 will see another award for their after sales service. “We are measured against many criteria, but the most important two are our recall rate and our customers’ feedback and their ratings are what keep us on top.
“Customers trust us to do the job right and they see we value their bikes as much as they do,” says Jaka.
Barak says this has in the past gone as far as “hiding the bike from the wife” — an unofficial service many bike dealers offer their customers.
“One client came to park his bike on our floor to sell it, but then fell in love with another, which he bought, but he left the new purchase on our floor, only taking it out for weekend runs. He did so for months before owning up,” laughs Barak.
