Limited edition added to Kwid range

Renault added a new model to its Kwid line-up, called the Kwid Ultra. Only 100 units of this limited edition will be available.

This specific model boasts ads features such as an 8” Touchscreen MediaNav® with Bluetooth®, USB, AUX and MP3 playback, with the a reverse camera and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, front and rear powered windows, electrical adjustable door mirrors, aircon and remote central locking.

In terms of safety it has the same equipment levels as the rest of the models in the range with dual front airbags, ABS brakes and improved road holding thanks to the 14” wheels and sturdier rear axle.

But it is from the outside that the Kwid Ultra has a two-tone paint scheme and black alloy wheels.

Like the other Kwids, power is delivered by a 1-litre engine with 50 kW and torque of 91 Nm. The Renault KWID range is priced from only R162 900, inclusive of 1-year comprehensive insurance, a 2-year service plan and 5-year warranty. The Ultra costs R174 900 (November 2020).

The recommended retail price for the Kwid range (November 2020) is: Expression (R162 900); Expression AMT (R172 900); Dynamique (R172 900); Ultra (R174 900); Dynamique AMT (R182 900); Climber (R183 900) and the Climber AMT R193 900).

Competitors include the Suzuki S-Presso, Suzuki Ignis, Mahindra KUV100 Nxt and the Datsun GO.
