JHB922 - Aftermarket Parts Operations Manager Automotive Brake & Clutch

Our client a trusted manufacturer of high-quality brake and clutch components for the automotive aftermarket is seeking a dynamic and driven Aftermarket Parts Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the daily operations of our automotive aftermarket parts business.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in the automotive aftermarket industry, proven leadership experience, and a passion for operational excellence. This role is responsible for managing inventory, sales support, warehousing, customer service, and overall business operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the aftermarket parts division
- Oversee inventory control, warehousing, distribution, and stock management activities
- Ensure efficient order processing, customer service, and delivery performance
- Lead, mentor, and develop operational and administrative teams
- Monitor and improve operational processes to increase productivity and profitability
- Work closely with sales, procurement, and finance departments to ensure smooth business operations
- Analyse operational data and prepare management reports
- Manage budgets, departmental KPIs, and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for growth
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' managerial experience in a similar role within the automotive aftermarket industry
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, inventory management, and aftermarket operations
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Experience working with Sage system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and stock control processes
- Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills
- Matric (Grade 12) essential
- Relevant qualification in Business Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field will be advantageous
- Valid driver's licence
- Motor Industry experience Essential!
