JHB 932 - Fund Accountant Automotive OEM level (EE vacancy)
A globally recognised automotive manufacturer with a growing presence in South Africa, committed to innovation, quality, and delivering accessible mobility solutions for a diverse customer base, immediately requires a Fund Accountant with Foreign exchange settlement and currency verification, Bank reconciliations and Payment approval procedure experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily fund collection and payment, ledger registration, foreign exchange settlement, foreign currency verification, and other related tasks
- Responsible for managing bank account information, docking with the bank's various payment approval procedures
- Keep and manage receipts, checks and other important financial documents
- Responsible for bank reconciliation and fund inventory work and preparing monthly bank balance reconciliation statements
- Responsible for the preparation of fund revenue and expenditure plans and budget control of daily fund payments
- Responsible for submitting various capital reports in accordance with shareholder requirements
- Cooperate with financial auditors and provide relevant financial documents
- Assist in other daily financial and administrative work assigned by the Finance Manager
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or National Diploma with relevant experience
- Professional Certification (preferred)
- 3 - 5 years’ experience
- Familiar with South Africa’s local financial policies
- Excellent communication and cross- cultural teamwork ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Motor Industry experience Essential!
