Plans underway for Fleet Safety Awards

Planning for MasterDrive’s Fleet Safety Awards is well underway.

Fleet Safety Awrds1

Entries to become the grand winner and recipient of R10 000 opened last week. Fleet managers and organisations can put forward their entries to be recognised as road safety ambassadors in South Africa.

The CEO of MasterDrive, Eugene Herbert, says after extensive research and planning, the entry forms are ready to be submitted to search for the Fleet Safety Awards winners. “There are two categories of entrants that will see both an individual and organisation potentially becoming the 2022 champions of road safety in South Africa.

“The first category, the Fleet Manager Safety Award, applies to fleet managers at the helm of road safety within their organisations. The winner of this category stands to win R10 000 in cash as well as a number of other great prizes.

“The second category, the Best Company Fleet Safety Award, will recognise organisations for the fleet safety policies implemented by their companies. The winning organisation will secure its place in the Hall of Fame and earn a permanent position on the floating trophy.”

A number of partners have already joined to bring the Fleet Safety Awards to fruition. “The assistance of these partners will provide the motivation for fleet managers and organisations to showcase their fleet safety strategies and receive the recognition that these strategies deserve.

“MasterDrive would like to extend a warm welcome to EQSTRA as a top tier sponsor, and a hearty welcome is extended to Arrive Alive and Accident Specialists in their roles as partners of or representatives on our esteemed judging panel.

We look forward to what the Fleet Safety Awards hold in becoming a reputable and important tradition in road safety in South Africa. “It will become the encouragement and motivation needed to establish road safety as a priority and provide it with the reverence it deserves,” says Eugene.

If you would like to enter as a fleet manager or on behalf of your organisation, you can find the links online. All submissions must be received by 18 March 2022.
