Mitsubishi SA graduates to diamond status in after-sales
Mitsubishi Motors South Africa’s (MMSA) consistent prioritisation of customer service, customer retention and a positive brand image has resulted in the South African subsidiary receiving numerous awards as part of Mitsubishi’s annual global after-sales business excellence programme.

The local operation has received recognition from Mitsubishi Motors Middle East & Africa as part of the brand’s annual global After-sales Business Excellence Programme, which measures service excellence by the local dealer network compared to that of other regions.
Mitsubishi Motors SA scooped a Gold award in the after-sales category for the 2023 financial year. This was accompanied by a special Diamond award, which recognises three consecutive Gold or Platinum performances in this category.
Both these awards were secured by constantly exceeding targets in after-sales, which includes measurables such as customer satisfaction and retention initiatives, spare parts and accessory performance.

For the first time, MMSA also competed in the sales and marketing category of the programme and here too it was awarded favourably.
The sales and marketing category of the programme measures factors such as public relations, external communication campaigns, sales excellence and the customer experience. Favourable scoring across all the categories resulted in an excellent score for the category.
In addition, Mitsubishi Motors South Africa received a special marketing award honouring it as the subsidiary with the best performance in the public relations category, measured against all other countries that form part of the region.
