Commenting on the donation, Andreas Brand, Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-South Africa and Executive Director of Manufacturing, said:, “Beyond our core business activities, we are committed to corporate social responsibility, and we pride ourselves in making tangible contributions in our communities. Today’s donation demonstrates our commitment to use our resources to enable NPOs to be agents of positive social change.”

The vehicles donated will support the charitable organisations with transport, the delivery of educational materials and extracurricular activities, and will enable easier access to communities and beneficiaries across their scope of work.
