MBSA assists charitable organisations with vehicles
In order to live up to its corporate social responsibility, Mercedes-Benz South Africa (MBSA) announced the donation of Mercedes-Benz Vans to charitable organisations involved in education, community upliftment, sport for development and environmental sustainability.

Commenting on the donation, Andreas Brand, Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-South Africa and Executive Director of Manufacturing, said:, “Beyond our core business activities, we are committed to corporate social responsibility, and we pride ourselves in making tangible contributions in our communities. Today’s donation demonstrates our commitment to use our resources to enable NPOs to be agents of positive social change.”
The vehicles donated will support the charitable organisations with transport, the delivery of educational materials and extracurricular activities, and will enable easier access to communities and beneficiaries across their scope of work.
African Angels Independent School receives a Mercedes-Benz Vito donation from MBSA.
Among the deserving recipients of this donation are Kid Links Small Farm Incubator, Land of the Living, African Angels Independent School, Rally to Read, Waves for Change, Border Cricket and Sporting Chance.
These organisations align with MBSA’s corporate social responsibility focus areas of education, community upliftment, youth empowerment, sport for development and environmental sustainability, among others.
