The National Association of Automotive Component and Allied Manufacturers (NAACAM) sponsored the newly introduced Woman in Automotive category, in which Marcia took top honours.
Now in its eleventh year, the event is a celebration of excellence, leadership and impact. NAACAM, the voice of the automotive component manufacturing industry, played a key role in bringing this category to life, reinforcing its commitment to industry growth and transformation.

“The automotive sector is evolving rapidly, and women are playing an increasingly important role in shaping its future,” said Lebalang Molobele, Head of Skills and People Development at NAACAM. “This category recognises those who are leading change and driving progress.”
With more than 1 000 nominations across all categories, the Awards reflected the growing presence of women in traditionally male-dominated industries.
Charlotte du Plessis described the new category as a powerful addition to the Awards, recognising women who are redefining what is possible in the automotive space.
Finalists demonstrated excellence in innovation, leadership and industry contribution.
