The peek of LDV’s new bakkie also served as an opportunity to introduce the new home of the LDV Bryanston Dealership under Avari Cars – an impressive space that reflects the premium identity of the brand, the Chinse manufacturer states.
The Terron 9 will enter South Africa’s double-cab segment with a bold attitude, robust capability and refined luxury features. Offered in Elite, Luxury and Premium models, and powered by a 2.5L turbo-diesel engine, the Terron 9 promises to deliver an exceptional driving experience both on tar and off road.
“Exciting times are lying ahead as we prepare to launch the Terron 9 at the end of August, starting off with an exclusive sneak peek. We are excited to bring this powerhouse to the South African market,” says Bevan Nel, CEO of LDV South Africa.
LDV South Africa invites the public to witness the full reveal and experience the Terron 9 live at the Festival of Motoring at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit from 28 - 31 August 2025.
Volkswagen is abandoning its separate electric vehicle naming convention, opting instead to align its battery-electric models with established combustion engine nameplates. The German automaker announced that the strategy shift would begin with the ID Polo, set to debut in 2026.
