JAC Motors opens new national parts warehouse

The brand says its fast-growing sales and network of 62 dealers has necessitated the larger facility. It will also ship parts and components from this facility to its dealers in Namibia and Eswatini.

The new parts warehouse is 25% larger than the previous facility. It is also better stocked than the last warehouse thanks to a stacked shelving system that more than doubles the available storage space.

"Remarkable car parc growth and the fact that the brand is here to stay as a permanent fixture on the local automotive scene made the investment decision in our new state-of-the-art parts warehouse easy," says Karl-Heinz Göbel, CEO of JAC Motors South Africa.

Besides being larger than the last warehouse, it has been designed to significantly speed up the order and dispatch process. The new facility is equipped with a high-tech ordering system that allows the dispatching of orders in the quickest possible time. The new system tracks parts in real-time, ensuring no disruptions in the delivery of parts.

"JAC Motors is a customer-centric brand. The fact that our new parts warehouse is centrally located will benefit our dealers, panel beaters, and customers alike, thanks to quicker deliveries from our extensive parts inventory," says Derrick Bishop, COO of JAC Motors South Africa.

The company's new parts warehouse is situated at Hendrik Potgieter and Van Der Kloof Streets in Roodepoort, with easy access to all major highways in Gauteng.
