Move The Nation, founded by influential fitness enthusiasts Kabelo Mabalane and Peteni Kuzwayo, is a specialist consulting and activations enterprise seeking to expand the opportunity for active living, recreation and sport in society.

The sponsorship will see Isuzu support Move The Nation as a “compass” in various races, including the annual Move The Nation Run and the main corporate event, the Impact Run to be held in August 2023.

Isuzu will act as vehicle sponsor during the races, enabling participants to safely explore different locations and communities, and branded vehicles will be leading the various races, providing navigation, hydration and lighting, and will establish a central remote location assembly point for the athletes.

Celestin Ndhlovu, Isuzu Motors South Africa Vice President of Strategy, Business Planning and Marketing, said: “Move The Nation is an organisation that seeks to bring about change in the daily lives of South Africans, encouraging them to challenge themselves mentally and physically, which speaks to our motto ‘Be Bold. Do More’.”

Beyond facilitating open-to-the-public enablement of running opportunities and events, Move The Nation is also passionate about Early Childhood Development, raising funds for South Africa’s growing number of children living in poverty.

Move The Nation founder, Kabelo Mabalane, says: “Participating in Move The Nation is about testing your limits and unleashing endurance, pushing your physical and mental stamina to new levels. ISUZU prides itself in being a brand that embraces boldness and endurance, and we look forward to growing this partnership with a market leader like Isuzu.”

Since 2022, ISUZU has partnered with Move The Nation co-founder, Kabelo Mabalane, as the brand ambassador under the BOLD-personified umbrella. Isuzu will be supporting Mabalane’s Isuzu-enabled BOLD-journey as he prepares for Ironman African Championships in March 2024.
