As holiday journeys typically bring increased mileage, heavier traffic and variable road conditions, Hyundai’s free vehicle check-up provides customers with the assurance that their cars are in optimal condition before setting off. The inspections cover key safety and performance areas, including tyres, brakes, fluid levels, battery health, lights and general mechanical condition.

Stanley Anderson, CEO of Hyundai Automotive South Africa, says this customer-focused programme aims to ensure that all Hyundai customers travel with peace of mind. "Our customers’ safety is our top priority. The complimentary pre-holiday vehicle check-up is part of our ongoing commitment to deliver exceptional value, reliability and service at every stage of a Hyundai vehicle ownership."

All Hyundai customers are invited to visit their nearest dealership at their convenience to take advantage of the offer. No booking fee applies and dealerships are equipped to assist with any follow-up maintenance or repairs identified during the check-up process.

In addition, the company is urging motorists to prioritise safe and responsible driving during the festive season, taking into consideration the number of fatalities during this period. “No matter how advanced a vehicle’s safety features are, nothing replaces the importance of responsible behaviour behind the wheel,” he says.

“The greatest safety feature in any Hyundai vehicle will always be the person behind the wheel, making a conscious decision to stay alert, sober and protecting other drivers on the road,” urged Stanley.
