Changan opens parts warehouse in JHB

Changan South Africa has officially opened its parts warehouse, a major step forward in building local trust.

25 Changan Warehouse

Located in Kempton Park, just off the R21 North, this new facility represents Changan’s commitment to providing genuine parts and national after-sales support to South African customers.

With a total warehouse floor area of 7 500m² and an impressive 12.5m eaves height, the Pomona facility is built to global logistics standards, ensuring efficient storage, rapid distribution and smooth delivery to dealerships and service centres nationwide, claims the manufacturer.

The warehouse is equipped to handle a wide range of genuine Changan components across the full model range.

Every part distributed from the Pomona warehouse is 100% genuine, designed and tested to meet Changan’s global manufacturing standards. This means customers can trust that every replacement, from the smallest screw to the most complex component, maintains the performance, safety and reliability that all Changan vehicles were built for.

“Peace of mind starts with knowing your vehicle is cared for the right way, not just in the short term, but for years to come,” says local Jameel SA Country Manager, Marinus Venter. “With genuine parts and a warehouse that’s ready to serve the entire country, we’re giving our customers exactly that – confidence for every journey.”

The facility is operated in partnership with DP World, a global leader in smart logistics and supply chain solutions. Through this collaboration, Changan leverages DP World’s expertise in warehousing, efficiency and supply chain innovation to guarantee reliability and speed at every stage.

The launch of the new warehouse is part of Changan’s ongoing investment in local infrastructure – strengthening its ability to serve South African drivers with world-class efficiency and care, Changan says.
