The winners of Dealerfloor’s latest competition was announced recently. The prize was a copy of “Kyalami The Book”.
Kyalami, the book is the result of exhaustive research by the writer, André Loubser, and a must for anyone interested in the spectacular history of the original Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit. The 400+ page book is filled with more than 1 180 photos and a host of stories from the most epic Grand Prix, 9 hour endurance and other racing battles on this iconic track.
With a foreword by F1 world champion Jody Scheckter, the book also contains a special 80-minute DVD with rare footage from bygone races, including hot laps with Alain Prost in an F1 Renault during the practice laps for the 1983 South African Grand Prix.
