Stellantis has announced the expansion of its multi-franchise dealer network with the addition of the Fiat and Jeep brands to the existing Westvaal Motor Group dealership in Klerksdorp in North West Province.
Westvaal Klerksdorp is already home to Opel, Peugeot and Citroën. The expansion continues to bolster dealer representation across North West Province in support of Stellantis’s ambitious plans as one of the largest importers in the South African motor industry.
The Westvaal Motor Group is a network of prestigious new, demo and pre-owned vehicle dealerships across South Africa offering a full range of sales, service, maintenance and parts. It is a national retail group priding itself on excellent customer service and superior value since 1977.
Stellantis dealers meet the highest standards, providing customers with an unparalleled sales and after-sales experience. “We’re excited to be expanding our relationship with the Westvaal Motor Group. This partnership not only broadens our reach but also enhances our ability to offer exceptional service to our customers,” says Mike Whitfield, Managing Director of Stellantis South Africa. “By bringing the FIAT and Jeep brands closer to our customers in North West Province, we are making these outstanding brands and their products more accessible.”
Westvaal Klerksdorp is committed to Stellantis’s Customer Care Pledge, which includes a 5-year/100 000km warranty, a mobility guarantee for vehicles under warranty that require more than 48 hours at the dealership or 30 days at an approved repairer, and optional security detail for roadside assistance. These benefits ensure peace of mind and an exceptional ownership experience.
As we all know, the profit of a motor dealership comes from several areas and each of them needs to be monitored closely if you want to ensure that your dealership performs well.
Unlike in the past, when dealerships primarily waited for customers to come to them, we now take a more proactive approach, bringing our vehicles directly to places where people gather, allowing them to experience the product first-hand, including offering test drives,” says Gerrie van der Kaay, Dealer Principal at Supergroup Dealerships Jetour Midrand.
One of the latest Chinese automotive brands to establish itself in South Africa, GAC Motor, is benefitting from the expertise of well-known motor groups in the country, like the BB Motor Group.
